Bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and China are constantly developing, especially at the economic and commercial levels. In the context of China's opening up to the Middle East, it is regarded as Qatar's largest economic partner. President Xi Jinping's visit to the Arabic region has achieved success completely , and the leaders of the two countries committed to developing and promoting relations in various fields, which have been transformed into strategic partnerships.
Within the framework of strengthening cultural, economic and investment cooperation, I am very proud to be able to work in a strategic location of South China where delegation base in. I believe that taking advantage of the Greater Bay Area as China's economic first zone is an important part and fundamental pillar of “The Belt and Road” Initiative, so as to enhance mutual understanding and deep friendship between the two countries’ people, introduce the basic situation of Chinese society and its traditional culture, and strengthen the communication and coordination between the relevant institutions of the two countries to negotiate investment and seek investment and business opportunities.
I am also happy to provide any assistance or consular services to Qatar citizens travelling to our consular districts (Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, Guangxi province) and residing there. The Consulate General will make every effort to simplify all procedures and expand the framework of mutual cooperation and good relations between the two countries at all levels.
